On May 14 of this year, a spiritual and educational event was organized in the Writers’ Alley, dedicated to the life and work of one of the famous representatives of Uzbek literature, Gafur Gulyam.
The event was attended by the vice-rector for youth and spiritual-educational work, heads of departments, teaching staff and students of the institute.
Vice-Rector Zulhumor Norkuzieva presented information about the life and work of Gafur Gulyam.

The event was also attended by Honored Cultural Worker of Uzbekistan, poet Bobur Bobomurod, who briefly discussed the work of G. Gulyam and read examples of his work, which pleased all those present. In addition, in order to test the students’ knowledge, a quiz was held on the works of G. Gulyam.

The students performed musical pieces and songs, and also organized a national game named “Tug of War,” which put everyone in a good mood.
