The Supervisory Board directs and monitors the activities of the Institute, sets the overall strategic direction of the institution for long-term and sustainable development, evaluates the performance of the top management and ensures accountability. It brings the institute and the community together. The Institute Board is responsible for managing and overseeing the implementation of the institution's strategies, policies and procedures in accordance with the institution's mission, vision and values. The Institute Council delegates to the rector and vice-rectors with operational teams projects that realise the strategic plan of the institution. In order to promote co-operation, transparency and accountability between the different stakeholders, to ensure that the institution works in line with its mission, values and strategic priorities, while meeting the needs of its different groups, the governance structure defines additional 6 councils (Advisory Council, Academic Council, Scientific Council, Finance Committee, Departmental Councils, Student Council)
