NGO Impact Bridge

At the Institute “ISFT”, partnerships with NGOs and community organisations are more than formal agreements—they’re active collaborations that help students connect their learning to real-world impact. Through volunteering, joint research, and educational initiatives, the university works closely with national and international partners to support the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4, 5, 8, 12, and 17.

Student engagement plays a central role in these efforts. For example, ISFT students volunteered at the Uzbekistan Franchising Association Central Asian Franchising & Business Expo in May 2025, where they helped organise the event and supported entrepreneurs. Similar activities with the Asakabank Women's Club encouraged young people to participate in initiatives promoting financial literacy and women’s economic empowerment.

Research and awareness activities also form a strong part of this collaboration. During the One Planet – One Goal: SDG Day at ISFT, experts from CARE CSR LTD, La’Maison du Tchapan, and RSM Uzbekistan delivered inspiring talks on sustainability, cultural heritage, and the role of marketing in driving positive change. These sessions helped students and faculty explore how global goals can be translated into local action.

In addition, the university signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the O‘zbekiston Ish Beruvchilar Konfederatsiyasi to launch the International Top Managers Centre — a platform linking education with professional opportunities and responsible business practices.

Workshops with Person Hunters LTD strengthened students’ personal branding and leadership skills. At the same time, field trips to Coca-Cola Icecek offered a behind-the-scenes look at sustainable production processes.

These collaborations reflect ISFT’s belief that meaningful change starts with practical experiences. By bringing students, NGOs, and industry together, the university is building a culture where learning goes beyond the classroom — turning ideas into action for a more sustainable future
