Independent research is a form of postgraduate education designed for applicants pursuing Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Science (DSc) degrees. It is conducted without interruption from professional activity and is aimed at training highly qualified scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel.

Note: A foreign language certificate is not required when applying for independent research.
