Bridging Academic Integrity and Sustainable Development: A Visit to the League Forum
The formal visit of the International School of Finance, Technology, and Science (ISFT) to Almaty, Kazakhstan, lasted four days, from April 18 to 21, 2024. The major aim of this visit was to attend the "Юбилейный Форум Лиги Академической честности" (League of Academic Integrity Forum), which happened on April 19th at Almaty Management University (AlmaU). This was done in remembrance of the anniversary of the formation of the League and to mark the fifth year of their endeavors in enhancing honesty and ethics in higher education. Almaty Management University invited the representatives of 17 different member institutions to discuss the substantive issues in keeping the world academic standards on a high level. In the case of ISFT, the proceedings were attended by Mr. Ibrohim G'ulomov, who is the rector's advisor on Academic Affairs and Mr. Sobirjon Pulatov, who is a Marketing Department Director. They took part in various informative sessions and workshops and even attended the awards ceremony of "For Academic Honesty," which appreciated outstanding works in the field. ISFT is enhancing the quality of education they provide through this visit. The conference enabled more strong international partnerships to be built and assisted in the international debate on the issue of academic integrity and policy development regarding the quality of education. ISFT's involvement aligns with the key Sustainable Development Goals, particularly those that emphasize quality education and partnership building. The experiences received with the help of the forum are actively informing the revision of academic policies and international strategies by ISFT, thus strengthening its contribution to the development of global norms in the field of ethical scholarship.

Uzbekistan–Malaysia Forum 2024: Highlights from ISFT at Forum
On 17-18 May 2024, the International School of Finance, Technology and Science took part in the Uzbekistan–Malaysia Forum in Samarkand—a move that underscored its growing role in fostering sustainable academic and regional collaboration. Advancing Sustainability Through Regional Academic Leadership
The ISFT institute proactively works on the SDG policy of the region by participating in the multi-stakeholder projects that affect at the same time higher education and sustainability agenda in Central Asia. The most recent example of this engagement is the attendance at the Club of Rectors of Central Asia, which involves the Almaty Management University and is held on 28 September 2024 at the American University of Central Asia in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
The conference, which was called Navigating Change: Leadership Challenges in Modern Academia, brought together over 50 top-tier leaders, professionals, and representatives of twenty-one universities across Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan. It also offered a platform of honest discussion on the changing environment of tertiary education, the demands of institutional change, and the search to common approaches that can guarantee long-term success.
The delegation, consisting of the Advisor of the Rector Gulomov I. R., the Head of the Marketing Department Pulatov S. M. and the Vice-Rector of General Affairs Soliyev A. As a result, the university will remain a collaborator in sustainable policy formulation by uncovering systemic problems, creating evidence-based solutions, simulating future trends and tracking progress. It will strengthen regional collaborations, enhance its activity with governments and non-governmental agencies, and develop practical solutions to the future role of higher education in Central Asia.
