Description of faculty
The Faculty of Humanities, as a rule, is focused on the study of man and society. Major areas include linguistics, literature, history, philosophy, cultural studies, psychology and sociology. This department provides students with the opportunity to deeply study human thinking, culture, history and social processes.
The purpose of the faculty is to develop a wide range of knowledge in the field of humanities, develop critical thinking, and provide knowledge on the study and preservation of cultural heritage. Through the study of humanities, students acquire an understanding of individual human development, intercultural communication, ethical standards and social phenomena.
Humanities students often have the opportunity to apply their knowledge in practice in areas such as linguistics, translation, journalism, international relations, historical studies and cultural projects. Graduates of the faculty undergo theoretical and practical training necessary to become highly qualified specialists capable of contributing to the development of society and humanity.
Directions
Foreign Languages and Literature
During the program, students will study the scientific and practical theories of teaching English and contemporary research in the field. They will also become familiar with methods that aid in effective language acquisition and improve literacy among language learners, applying these methods in practice. Students will learn the importance of English cultural theory and principles in creating an effective learning environment for English learners and will develop the necessary practical skills. They will study the concepts, cultural peculiarities, and the role of culture and cultural layers in the language learning process. Students will learn methods for developing lesson plans, using them in the teaching process, and adapting standards for teaching English as a second language. They will gain knowledge about program models, language skill development, and strategies for integrating the teaching process. Students will develop skills in effectively using modern technologies in language teaching and in selecting and designing learning resources and materials suitable for language learners.
Preschool Education
The Preschool Education program is designed to prepare professionally developed educators who will contribute to the comprehensive development of children, systematic organization of family preschools, and development of public and private preschools. The program focuses on creating curricula, teaching, and assessment, providing a strong foundation in the theory and history of preschool education.
This program covers the holistic educational process for children aged 3 to 6 years, aimed at their development. Future educators will study inclusive, cognitive, linguistic, and social aspects, as well as methods for working with talented children. The program combines traditional and innovative research methods and focuses on applying theoretical knowledge in practice.
Degree in Primary Education
The Primary Education program aims to prepare future primary school teachers who will be competitive professionals with a place in society. It is designed to prepare educators for teaching in state and private schools in the Republic of Uzbekistan for grades 1-4, focusing on elevating the professional level of future teachers, enhancing their role in society, and implementing new innovative technologies in teaching.
The program provides theoretical and practical assistance in acquiring the knowledge, skills, and competencies necessary for a primary school teacher. Future primary school teachers will actively participate in courses on pedagogical theory, teaching methodology, psychological concepts, cognitive processes, and the theory of primary education. They will also gain general fundamental knowledge in the courses.
Pedagogy
You will learn how to organize educational processes, apply modern teaching methods, and work effectively with younger generations. Students gain knowledge of educational technologies, educational psychology, and innovative teaching approaches.

Psychology

Philology and Language Teaching (English)

Who Are We? What is ISFT?
Is ISFT a state educational institution?
No. ISFT Institute is a private/non-state higher education institution. Our institution operates based on licenses and certificates issued by the relevant body under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, meeting all the state’s requirements.

Contract amount
Annual contract amount for recommended applicants:
The BCV (basic calculation value) is currently 412 000 UZS.
Tashkent:
The fee for full-time study is 50 BCV (international directions) and for the current year is 20 600 000 UZS.
The fee for full-time education is 46 BCV (other areas) and for the current year is 18 952 000 UZS.
The contract amount for distance learning is 25 BCV the same for all directions and for the current year is 10 300 000 UZS.
The tuition contract fee for master’s degree programs is set at 65 BCV and is the same for all fields of study. For the current year, the amount is 26,780,000 UZS.
Samarkand:
The fee for full-time education is 48 BCV (international directions) and for the current year is 19 776 000 UZS.
The fee for full-time education is 44 BCV (other directions) and for the current year is 18 128 000 UZS.
ISFT Institute does not provide scholarships to students, but can provide 100 per cent annual grants.
If 2 or more students study in the same family (brothers, sisters, husband and wife, etc.), each family member receives a 10% discount on the contract fee.
The tuition price changes every year before the start of the new academic year.
Are grant positions available as well?
At ISFT Institute, a total of 300 scholarship-based study places have been allocated. Of these, 250 scholarships are available for full-time undergraduate students on a general competitive basis, while an additional 50 special scholarships are reserved for applicants from socially vulnerable backgrounds.
The special scholarships are intended for applicants who are officially registered in government social support programs for low-income or vulnerable families, as well as for candidates who have lost a parent or guardian and applicants with disabilities.
Transfer of Studies
Certainly, our institute offers the possibility of transferring studies. Students who transfer are accepted only starting from the second and third year.
You can transfer to our institute not only from Uzbekistan but also from abroad. Requirements: you must have completed the first year, passed your final exams, and have an order confirming the completion of the first year.

ISFT Institute has successfully passed the international accreditation on 23 January 2025.
What does international accreditation mean?
It means that the quality of education, study programmes, teaching staff and management system of the institute meet international standards.
Quality control of ISFT's teaching system is licensed by the "Eurasian Centre for Accreditation and Quality Assurance in Education and Health Care (ECAQA)."
This organisation is registered as a member of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation International Group of the United States (CHEA/IQG). It should be noted that among private universities in Uzbekistan, only ISFT Institute has ECAQA accreditation.
