Description of faculty

The Faculty of Information Technologies, as a rule, is focused on the study and development of modern technologies. It provides students with knowledge and skills in areas such as information systems, programming, computer networks, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence. Students learn to use modern software tools, develop software applications, manage and analyze technological processes.

The main goal of the faculty is to provide students with the theoretical and practical knowledge necessary to solve technological problems, conduct scientific research and create modern innovations. Students gain in-depth knowledge of information security, programming languages, digital technologies, cloud computing and big data management, and can also apply them in practice.

In addition, the Faculty of Information Technology often provides students with the opportunity to undergo internships in IT companies and become familiar with the latest innovations in this field.

Directions

Information Systems and Technologies

This program prepares specialists in the development and application of software and tools for solving problems in science, technology, economics, and management, as well as mathematical models of processes and objects, and mathematical methods. Upon graduation, the student will be able to develop data models for information systems; apply information technologies in the design of information systems; use architectural and detailed solutions in system design; perform mathematical and informational modeling of information processing problems.

 

Economics

 

Economics is the study of the production, distribution, trade, and consumption of goods and services. As a social science, it examines how societies manage scarce resources to achieve sustainable development and improve social welfare. This direction develops students’ analytical, managerial, and strategic thinking skills, enabling them to address key economic challenges in alignment with Uzbekistan’s national development priorities.

Students gain competencies in planning, accounting, and analyzing the performance of economic entities, as well as in preparing and applying legal and regulatory documents. The program integrates national and international economic practices and emphasizes the use of modern information and communication technologies (ICT) for techno-economic analysis. In line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—particularly Decent Work and Economic Growth (SDG 8)Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure (SDG 9), and Responsible Consumption and Production (SDG 12)—graduates are prepared to promote sustainable and innovative economic development.

Additionally, we offer a range of elective courses aligned with the SDGs, such as Sustainable Economic Decision-MakingHuman Resource Management for Sustainable Development, and Simultaneous Interpreting for Global Communication. As a recently established institute, we are committed to preparing our students to thrive in a rapidly changing and interconnected world.

Marketing

Provides an in-depth study of marketing. Nowadays, marketing communications and advertising have become an integral part of modern business, so knowledge in this field is an important component of training specialists working in various spheres of activity.

In the modern economy, ongoing changes related to the digital revolution and the increasing number of communication channels, the development of social networks and interactive marketing platforms, big data, and omnichannel strategies create new vectors for both business and the educational system.

Graduates who complete this program will possess both theoretical and practical knowledge, as well as modern tools and technologies to support business communications and product promotion in a new digital environment.

Banking and Audit

The program shapes a unified system of general cultural and professional competencies in the field of banking and audit. Modern economics requires a qualitatively new generation of banking professionals with core competencies, modern technologies and tools, knowledge and skills in financial analysis of commercial and business processes, and advanced analytical thinking and research skills.

In this field, students will study the fundamentals of banking, finance, and audit, the formation of accounting policies, international finance, monetary policy, solving banking problems, investments, and investor activities. Students will also gain fundamental knowledge, skills, and competencies in statistics, econometrics, and taxation.
