Monitoring of the Status of Master’s Theses Conducted at ISFT
On January 20 and 27, 2026, the Master’s Department of ISFT organized monitoring activities aimed at assessing the current status of master’s thesis research, with the participation of department heads and academic supervisors of master’s students.
During the monitoring process, scientific articles and theses published by master’s students within the scope of their thesis topics were systematically reviewed. The analysis focused on the integrity of the dissertation content, scientific novelty, relevance of the selected topics, as well as compliance with existing scientific-methodological and regulatory requirements.
In addition, methodological recommendations were provided on issues related to thesis formatting, working with sources, citation standards, and adherence to the principles of academic writing. Academic supervisors offered suggestions and recommendations aimed at improving the research activities of master’s students and enhancing the quality indicators of their dissertations.
These monitoring activities contribute to the systematic organization of master’s students’ research work, the preparation of dissertations in accordance with established requirements, and the improvement of their level of readiness for the final defense.
