
ISFT Institute Students Recommended for the Presidential and Named State Scholarships
On July 29, 2026, ISFT Institute held the next stage of the selection process aimed at supporting talented and academically accomplished students with strong scientific and creative potential, duly recognizing their achievements, and nominating them for the Presidential and Named State Scholarships.
The Selection Committee, approved by the relevant order of the Rector of the Institute, conducted a detailed review of the documents submitted by students applying for the Named State Scholarships for the 2026/2027 academic year in accordance with the “PROCEDURE for Conducting the Competition for Talented Students at ISFT Institute” and the established evaluation criteria.
During the selection process, the Committee considered the applicants’ academic performance, mastery of academic disciplines, research and creative activities, published scientific articles and conference abstracts, participation in conferences and competitions, achievements, and other relevant indicators. The members of the Selection Committee reviewed the submitted documents for compliance with the established requirements, and candidates who met the relevant criteria were selected for the next stage.
The Selection Committee conducted oral interviews with the students who successfully passed the preliminary selection stage. During the interviews, particular attention was paid to the candidates’ professional knowledge and outlook in their respective fields of study, research activities, achievements, future goals and plans, as well as their ability to express and substantiate their views clearly and confidently.
Following the completion of the competition, the results of the document evaluation and oral interviews were consolidated, and the final results of each applicant were reviewed and discussed by the Selection Committee.
According to the Committee’s conclusion, the students who achieved the highest scores and successfully passed the oral interview were recommended for the following state scholarships for the 2026/2027 academic year:
- State Scholarship of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
- Islam Karimov Named State Scholarship;
- Alisher Navoi Named State Scholarship.
In accordance with the relevant decision of the Selection Committee, the submission of the documents of the candidates recommended for these scholarships to the national stage of the competition in accordance with the established procedure was approved.
This selection process is aimed at identifying talented students at ISFT Institute, further developing their scientific and creative potential, supporting their initiatives, and creating the necessary opportunities for them to compete for prestigious state scholarships at the national level.
