The doctor of Philosophy (PhD) thesis on the topic “the impact of migration on the change of social consciousness and its ethnomadanic characteristics”, prepared by Norov Shaymardon Omonovich, was discussed. During the event, scientific leadership approaches conducted by the scientific leader Khidirov Mustafa Toyirkulovich (doctor of philosophical Sciences (PhD), associate professor) were heard, as well as scientific reflections expressed by reviewers – Ruziyeva Ruhsora Khodiyevna (doctor of philosophical sciences, professor) and Kadirova Dilbar Solihovna (candidate of philosophical sciences, professor). In the dissertation, the influence of migration processes on social consciousness and ethnocultural changes was analyzed, the relevance of the topic was highlighted by the participants.

After that, a dissertation discussion was held on the topic “the role of the socio-philosophical and religious-moral views of Muhammad Abdo in the development of arab philosophy of the 20th century”, prepared by Hamroev Nusrat Ichthyorovich. As a scientific leader, Kholmominov Ja'far Mukhammadievich (doctor of philosophical Sciences (DSc), professor) took an active part. Reviewers-Muhammadjan Kadyrov (candidate of philosophical sciences, professor) and Dzhurayev Anvar Mukhamadiyevich (candidate of philosophical Sciences, Associate Professor) expressed their opinion. In the course of the discussion, it was noted that Muhammad Abdo's role in 20th-century arab philosophy, his social and religious views were highlighted on the basis of important sources.

Both scientific discussions were held at a high level, based on scientific criteria. Dissertations were recommended for protection by the enlarged department meeting.
