
Advancing Teacher Education through Reflective Practice and Professional Development
On December 26, 2025, the Department of Philology and Language Teaching at ISFT Institute hosted a seminar-training titled “Embedding Reflective Practice and CPD into the PRESETT Curriculum” within the framework of the British Council AELLCA project. The event reflected ISFT’s ongoing commitment to strengthening quality teacher education and fostering sustainable professional growth among educators.
The seminar featured Nodira Isamukhamedova, Head of the MA TESOL Department, Founder of Mentor Hub and ELT UZ, Hornby Scholarship recipient, Associate Professor at the University of Westminster, and PhD holder, as the distinguished guest speaker. Faculty members actively engaged in the sessions, which combined theoretical perspectives with practical guidance on developing reflective competence in pre-service English language teachers and integrating Continuing Professional Development (CPD) into teacher education curricula.
