
Intersectoral integration – a factor of economic sustainability
On February 27, an international scientific and practical conference entitled “Topical Issues of Achieving Sustainable Economic Growth through Enhancing the Efficiency of Intersectoral Integration in the New Uzbekistan” was held at the ISFT Institute.
The conference was organized in accordance with Order No. 11 of January 16, 2026, issued by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and aimed at strengthening cooperation between academic research and practical sectors.
The event focused on enhancing integration among key sectors of the economy — industry, agriculture, and services. The speakers analyzed the scientific and theoretical foundations as well as practical mechanisms for ensuring sustainable economic growth. Particular emphasis was placed on the implementation of digital technologies in production processes to optimize costs and increase overall efficiency.
The conference was conducted in a hybrid format (online and offline) with the participation of foreign and domestic professors, industry experts, young researchers, doctoral candidates, and master’s students. The event was held in Uzbek, Russian, and English, serving as an effective platform for international academic exchange.
At the conclusion of the conference, recommendations were developed to improve mechanisms for implementing scientific research into practice and addressing existing challenges. Visiting professors were awarded certificates and commemorative gifts.
