On April 13, 2026, ISFT Institute will host the “Ilhom” Award competition (https://lex.uz/docs/-4966474), organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the Center for Increasing Social Activity of Students and Pupils under the Ministry, and partner organizations.

 

The “Ilhom” Award is given to young people who achieve the highest results in studying the life and works of poets and writers, translating their works, conducting research, and creating film and stage productions.

 

The competition consists of a preliminary selection stage at the higher education institution level through testing and a main republican stage based on scientific and creative achievements.

 

Young people who have created film or stage works based on the lives and works of writers, or conducted scientific research on authors’ biographies and works, may participate without testing upon recommendation of the rector.

 

Winners of the competition will be awarded a special diploma, statuette, and cash prizes by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation:
1st place — 100 times the base calculation value
2nd place — 80 times the base calculation value
3rd place — 40 times the base calculation value
