
A meeting of the Scientific-Methodological Council was held at ISFT Institute
On April 16, 2026, the 3rd regular meeting of the Scientific-Methodological Council of ISFT Institute was held. During the meeting, special attention was given to issues of education quality, the effectiveness of scientific-methodological activities, and preparation for international scientific-practical conferences. Key areas were thoroughly discussed.
In accordance with the agenda, a number of pressing issues were comprehensively reviewed:
The results of subject Olympiads and various competitions held at the institute were discussed. Proposals were made to identify talented students, support them, and further improve achieved outcomes.
The implementation status of tasks defined within the individual work plans (IWP) of professors and teachers was analyzed. Reports from responsible staff on improving research efficiency and achieving set indicators were heard.
Preparations for international scientific-practical conferences planned for the 2025–2026 academic year were discussed. The importance of organizing these events at a high level, preparing high-quality scientific articles, and expanding international cooperation was emphasized.
Educational materials prepared by faculty members were reviewed. Recommendations were provided on conducting scientific-methodological expertise, improving them in line with modern requirements, and integrating them into the educational process.
At the end of the meeting, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation Tuxtamish Azizov gave relevant instructions on all discussed issues and outlined specific tasks aimed at further improving the institute’s scientific-methodological activities.
