Under the slogan “One Planet, One Goal!”, ISFT Institute continues its April initiative dedicated to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), bringing together students and academic staff for meaningful dialogue on sustainability, equality, and inclusive development.

 

On April 22, from 10:00, at the ISFT Library, a lecture will be delivered by Nilufar Kayumova, National Project Officer on Employment at the International Labour Organization in Uzbekistan. With professional experience spanning finance, gender analysis, and development work through UNDP, the speaker will share insights on advancing SDG 5 — Gender Equality and SDG 8 — Decent Work and Economic Growth. During the session, participants will explore key issues related to women’s economic empowerment, gender inequality in socio-economic systems and the importance of decent work opportunities.

 

The event will provide valuable perspectives on inclusive labor markets, equal opportunity principles, and the role of institutions in supporting social and economic inclusion.
